His passion and love of music has attracted a strong audience in recent years. A multi-instrumentalist to say the least, the list of instruments that Cieavash performs include &#8211; Barbat (Oud), Kamanche, Nay, Tar, Flute, Accordion, Daff and Zorna. Cieavash is also a well accomplished vocalist.</p>
<p>Born in Tehran, Iran Cieavash has a love for traditional Middle Eastern music. These include &#8211; Turkish, Persian, Arabic and Armenian. He is self taught and plays by ear. Cieavash has performed all over the country, most recently, Woodford Folk Festival, Qld Multicultural Festival, Brisbane Festival, Adelaide Fringe Festival and Brisbane Powerhouse. Whether it&#8217;s a live performance or working on music for a film, you can be sure than his heart is in every performance.</p>

Through the music her mother has imparted to her, Menaka has experienced the beauty of divine love and surrender and endeavours to share these experiences with others through her vocal music. Menaka is also an exponent of Bharata- Natyam, or south Indian classical dance, graduating from this divine art in 2004. She has sung and danced at many community events, including Woodford Folk Festival, Sacred Music Festival, numerous charity events and has collaborated with many artistes, including Tenzin Choegyal.</p>
<p>Menaka has performed with Tibet2Timbuk2 on numerous occasions, notably at the <a href="http://www.tibet2timbuk2.com/photos/album/72157610765728923/photo/3087942505/concert-photos-tibet2timbuk2-at-powerhouse.html">CD Launch of &#8220;Music is Life&#8221; at Brisbane Powerhouse, 15th November 2008</a>.</p>

A multi instrumentalist, Asim plays not only Oud and violin, he also sings and plays keyboards, the Arabic lute, Sudanese traditional guitar, mandolin as well as viola, and is one of the sweetest whistlers around. Asim Gorashi is a founding member of the band Sudanese Sound; he has also played in the band of Sudan’s best-loved singer, folk hero and revolutionary Mohammed Al-Amin. He now lives permanently in Brisbane where he is doing his post graduate studies.</p>
<p>Asim has performed with Tibet2Timbuk2 on numerous occasions, notably at <a href="http://www.tibet2timbuk2.com/photos/album/72157610765728923/photo/3088639966/concert-photos-asim-and-marcello.html">Brisbane City Hall&#8217;s Main Auditorium in June 2008</a>.</p>

<p>Ask anyone who has seen Marcello live, and they&#8217;ll tell you that here is an artist whose songs and voice are filled with those rare attributes, honesty and integrity.</p>
<p>Marcello has performed at many festivals including Woodford Folk Festival, Livid Festival, Big Day Out &amp; the National Folk Festival to name just a few. He is best known to many as the voice of Brisbane icons, <span class="highlight">The Toothfaeries</span>. Arguably one of the most acclaimed and popular bands in the city&#8217;s recent history, The Toothfaeries, with Marcello out front, not only helped inspire the growth of Brisbane&#8217;s booming music scene, they influenced a small army of artists who have emerged in their wake.</p>

<p>Tenzin plays the dranyen (long necked lute), lingbu (transverse flutes) various ritual objects and is well-known for his extraordinary vocal ability.</p>
